Day 65 of #Art365

Tree Study No. 2.  This old tree is on the Land of the Giants Trail at Beckley Park. Some of the other old tress have fallen since I was last here, therefore I wanted to be sure to capture this one on canvas. The interesting structure of the branches of these old trees interest me. I painted this one in a more simplified style to capture this particular shape.  Oil on 12"x9" canvas panel.
